A “Wood Pressed” top — the candle is molded from a pressing of split maple firewood. Summers are for splitting, Fall for stacking, and Winter for hauling firewood— so for us, this texture is very nostalgic and true to home, especially beneath a flame.
The stone container is cast by hand. It’s beautiful warm color is accomplished using earth-found mineral pigments. The container is not painted, but simply sealed using a mixture of earth safe seal and oil.

is a gypsum cast of a handmade ceramic container. Gypsum is a natural rock-forming sediment predominantly found in the United States (including Michigan) and Spain and has been used in art and ceramics for thousands of years. It’s sealed with oil and an earth safe seal.

is filtered white beeswax and soy wax (from Midwest) — two clean, farm sourced waxes, mixed for optimal burn quality for this specific container. Fragrance is from a mixture of oils at less than 3% by weight.

is natural, braided cotton. It’s secured using only the wax itself and a metal tab — no adhesives or toxins.
