Wooden "Dogear" Bookmark

from $16.00

Real wood. White Oak. Naturally smooth, naturally lovely— no finish added.

A bookmark should be, part of the reading experience. Our “dog ear” design remembers the classic way of marking your place on the page. And like like the page itself, it must be simple, elegant, tactile, and most importantly— thin.

Normally when hardwood is cut thin it becomes brittle. But we’ve solved that. Our bookmarks are thin AND strong. Using the classic woodworking approach of joining wood with complimentary grain patterns, we’ve maintained the low profile while greatly increasing durability.

The white oak is unfinished but finely sanded, allowing the layered grain of the white oak to maintain a three dimensional luster that’s often lost under a finish.
